“Le Roi a Paris” translates as “King of Paris”. At the end of the 19th century, several German factories were engaged in the production of mechanical watches under the brand “Le Roi a Paris”, the largest of which were “Shlenkler-Kienzle”, “Yunghans”, “FMS and PHS”. Under the brand “Le Roi a Paris”, known German watch factory F.M.S. – Friedrich Mauthe, Schwenningen (Frederick Mauthe from Schwenningen) wall clocks were imported en masse to Tsarist Russia in the early twentieth century, because wealthy Russians wanted to see a watch of the highest German quality with a beautiful French charm.
In fact, it is a mechanical clock with spring winding and enamel dials, remotely reminiscent of the “Vienna regulators”.And for more than 100 years, the wall clock brand “Le Roi a Paris”, continue to please their owners.
