Reference:4 folding ruler, no divisions, number or name, from I & D Smallwood. Export model, as each section is over 6 inches. I & D Smallwood Ltd, founded by Isaac and David Smallwood, was based in Leopold Street, B12 Birmingham. They manufactured a variety of hand tools including spirit levels and logarithmic rulers. Previously (circa 1829) John Smallwood had manufactured carriage brasses in Fordro Street, Birmingham. In 1999 the company was bought out by G.Gibson & Co. Ltd.
