After graduating from high school he entered the Rostov Art School named after M.B.Grekov, which he successfully completed in 1973.
The main genre in which the artist works is landscape. G.N.Kanunnikov created magnificent images of the nature of the Omsk region. A great place in his works is occupied by the theme of the Siberian village. G.N.Kanunnikov’s painting is not just based on a deep knowledge of village life – it is imbued with sincere feelings of the artist.
Therefore, the most common everyday motifs take on a special sound.
