Reference:German watch company “Badische Uhrenfabrik”, Furtwangen (Furtwangen).Factory appeared in 1881 after the merger of family watch companies “Rombach” and “Ketterer”.
In 1889, the company merged with two other rather large firms, “Leo Faller” and “Bach & Sohn”, after which the company was named “Badische Uhrenfabrik Furtwangen AG”. The company existed until 1883, surviving the hard years of the German depression and even its own bankruptcy in 1918.

They produced every kind of interior clock imaginable, from alarm clocks to floor clocks.
