1) One mug from such a set at auction in 2019 was sold for more than 2 million rubles.2) The 84th silver sample refers to the gold standard system of samples, which appeared in pre-revolutionary Russia. In the 18th century, there were about a dozen such samples, but by the end of the 19th century, the number of popular samples was reduced to four. Among them was the 84th sample.
In the past, only wealthy people could afford these items. However, even today their price is quite high, as well as their antique value.
