Isidor Georgievich Frich-Har (1893-1978) – sculptor, master of decorative and applied arts, Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1969), author of memoirs “A Tale of Life and Work”. He began to engage in sculpture independently in 1913. Member of the group “United Art” (OBIS; from 1925), the Society of Artists-Stankovists (OST; from 1926), the Society of Russian Sculptors (from 1926), the association “Brigade of Sculptors” (“Brigade of Eight”). Honored Artist of the RSFSR (since 1969). Since 1922 lived in Moscow. Since 1926 he was engaged in ceramics at the Konakovo faience factory, where in 1928 he founded an art laboratory and headed it until 1978. He participated in the exhibitions “Artists of the RSFSR for 15 years”, “15 years of the Red Army”, in the World Exhibition in Paris (1937) and later in many all-Union and republican exhibitions. His works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Ceramics in Kuskovo, the State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow.
