The device is ultra-precise, manufactured according to TU 25-07. 1533-84
The 6MX chronometer is mounted in a case and drawer made of hardwood with a glossy lacquer finish in mahogany color, or optionally in mahogany.
The analog of the marine chronometer 6MX is produced by only one company – the Swiss company “Zenith”.
The 6MX marine chronometer is on display at the Swiss Watch Museum in Chaux-de-Fonds.
The 6MX Marine Chronometer is mandatory equipment in the ship’s registry of the world-renowned Lloyd’s insurance company.
Model “6MX” was developed in 1947 and was designed to keep accurate time in hours, minutes and seconds on ships and vessels of all classes, types and purposes. Since 1949 the industrial production of marine chronometers began, which continues until the present time. The marine chronometer was exported to Bulgaria, Vietnam, Germany, Poland, Romania, Finland, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Japan, Italy, America and other countries.
