Reference:
Christiaan Johann Johann Heinrich Heine was a German poet, essayist and critic of late Romanticism. Master of satire, feuilleton, travel notes. Ideologist of the Young Germany movement.
Heine was a favorite poet of the Austrian Empress Elisabeth, Albert Einstein, the young Joseph Goebbels, and N. I. Bukharin.
In 1830 he emigrated to France.
Heine’s formation as a poet coincided with the flowering of lyric genres in German literature, raised to the shield of the Romantics. Heinrich created brilliant examples of romantic poetry, freeing it from excessive pathetics and conventionality. The poetry collection “The Book of Songs”, which made the poet famous throughout the world, has simplicity, naturalness, improvisation.
Heine was a distant relative of Karl Marx on his mother’s side. It is noteworthy that when they met in Paris in 1843, they did not suspect their kinship. The poet was fascinated by the mind of this young philosopher and almost daily came to Vano Street to talk about politics and literature.
