The CPLS pilot’s badge confirms the class of the holder. In order to obtain the qualification it is necessary to have a certain number of flight hours and to pass the obligatory theoretical test standards. It is the pilot tester who gives the final conclusion on the suitability and safety of serial aircraft. The badge is made in the form of an octagonal silver shield. In the center there is a golden image of a supersonic aircraft. The upper part on the left is occupied by the inscription “Flying Test Pilot”. The lower part on the right is decorated with a laurel branch with the abbreviation “CPLS”.
